Super Coconut Green Shake

September 1, 2010 | Filed Under Small Talk

There’s an emerging consensus that saturated fat from plants and animals is about the healthiest thing you can consume. It is quite literally the optimal fuel for the human body.

From time to time, I like to saturate my body with saturated fat. Just load up on the stuff.

One of my favorite ways to do that is to make a shake in the blender using coconut milk, white protein powder, water, ice, and some high quality green powder (made of fruits and veggies). I call this the Super Coconut Green Shake.

One can of coconut milk contains a good 40-50g of saturated fat. This should be consumed in two large servings (one blender full).

Be warned: saturating your body (at least this guy’s body) with saturated fat often leads to a feeling of elation… a kind of natural high.
