The study suggests that people can still be madly in love with each other twenty years into a relationship. Contrary to popular opinion.
And in the face of all the prudes and all the cynics:
“He also notes the couples who were still in love reported having sex frequently (adjusted for age) although it’s not clear whether this is an expression of their undying passion or a cause of it.”
I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest the latter. Frequent sex (at least 2-3 per week) is the key to longer term relationships and life long passionate love.
